Mindfulness Training for Health Care Professionals
This Mindfulness Group is for health care providers of all types.
The group incorporates methods from Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), Mindfulness Self-Compassion (MSC), and Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT). This is not a therapy group, rather it is designed to foster the practice of mindfulness and self-care.

Background and Certification
Our background and certifications include Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction MBSR and Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy MBCT with John Kabat-Zinn, Dr. Georg Feuerstein, Dr. Susan Smalley, and Dr. Daniel Siegel. We have additional specialized training in Mindfulness Self-Compassion with Dr. Kristin Neff and Dr. Chris Germer. Mindfulness involves attending to your present moment experience and circumstances without judgment or resistance. This practice can be integrated into everyday life and can help you step out of automatic pilot. Mindfulness techniques are clinically proven to help individuals with a variety of stress related conditions and concerns. Facilitated a four-week mindfulness curriculum based on Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) to health care professionals at La Fundacion Santa Fe de Bogota, as part of my dissertation research study. The resulting article was published in the International Journal of Stress Management.
