At In-depth Wellness, we focus on helping our clients awaken and develop their own intrinsic resources for supporting their healing process. We provide mindfulness techniques, somatic approaches and other psychological strategies that empower our clients to connect with and fortify their own internal strengths.
Past trauma is frequently a contributing factor or the underlying cause of other psychological ailments, such as anxiety, depression or substance abuse. By addressing the trauma and exploring how it affects a client, we are able to minimize the harmful effects it has on the individual. Over time, the symptoms of secondary, trauma-related conditions can also become less intense and easier to manage. As such, we are always assessing for possible past trauma and aim at working with it directly.
Sometimes, life can be as challenging as it is beautiful. That’s why we believe in helping clients find joy in their lives while respecting and acknowledging the pain they may bear. Pain and suffering can often cause us to miss the natural moments of joy and goodness in our lives. Recognizing happiness and learning to connect with goodness are important aspects of the healing process. No matter how much suffering there is, you can always find small moments of goodness. Using the principles of somatic experiencing and neuroscience, we help our clients look for and find such joy—not to mask or deny their suffering—but to build a foundation for profound healing.
In Depth supports a modern-holistic approach. We promote mindfulness, building resilience and cultivating inner resources. Our focus is on wellness and developing inner strength rather than pathology oriented. Non-judgmental and able to work with populations within a from various cultural and social backgrounds, differing belief systems, and a range of sexual and gender orientations.
